WEST DEAN
(EAST SUSSEX) WAR MEMORIAL
World War 1 & 2 - Roll
of Honour with detailed information
Compiled and copyright © Transcribed & Researched Janet Graves
2004
The
memorial in the Church at West Dean consists of two small brass plaques,
flanked by the flags of Great Britain and England. There are only
two names on each plaque, and the inscriptions contain quite a lot
of detail. The lower plaque was added in November, 1997. [Note: There
is also a West Dean in West Sussex]
