The
Alcester Cross War memorial is to be found in adjacent to west tower
of St Nicholas' Church, in the churchyard, Butter Street, off Church
Street, Alcester, Stratford On Avon, Warwickshire. It takes the form
of a four-stepped, octagonal, base surmounted by an octagonal sectioned
plinth with a four-gabled column base, transposing into an octagonal
column, topped by a capital and cross. There are 73 names listed for
World Wa r 1, 24 names for World War 2 and one name for Korea.
