The memorial is to be found on the village green in Priors hardwick. It takes the form of a squat Hornton stone obelisk on a three stepped base. There are 28 names of those who returned and 3 that made the ultimate sacrifice for World War 1 and 4 who gave ther lives in World War 2.

GARDNER William
Private, 10169, 1st Battalion Royal Warwickshire Regiment Killed in action at Talana Farm aged 37, Tuesday 8th of June 1915. Son of Thomas and Sarah Gardner. Buried in Talana Farm Cemetery, Belgium.
HAYNES Edward T.
Private, 10193, 9th (Service) Battalion Royal Warwickshire Regiment. Died aged 18, Wednesday 15th of December 1915. Second son of Henry and Liza Haynes. Buried in Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta.

HAYNES Wisdom H.
Private, 9645, Royal Warwickshire Regiment. Died at home as a result of wounds received aged 30, Monday March the 16th 1916. Eldest son of Henry and Liza Haynes. Brother of the above Edward Haynes. Buried in St. Mary's Churchyard, Priors Hardwick.

BURDEN Arthur N.
Serjeant, 2484, Lord Strancona's Horse. Died in transit home onboard the SS Western Plains aged 27, Tuesday 21st of October 1919. Eldest son of Thomas and Emma Burden.

Private, 5347734, Army Catering Corps. attached Royal Berkshire Regiment Died aged 21, 10th of January 1943. Son of Mary A. F. Fennell. Buried in Belfast City Cemetery, Northern Ireland.

HAYNES Albert E.
Lance Serjeant, 1888801, 24th Bomb Disposal Section, Royal Engineers. Killed in action aged 29, Tuesday 29th of August 1944. Brother of the above Arthur Haynes. Buried in St. Desir War Cemetery, France.
HAYNES Kenneth C.
Private, 7397422, 132 Field Ambulance, Royal Army Medical Corps. Killed in action aged 23, 20th of October 1944. . Only son of John and Doris Haynes. Buried in Faenza War Cemetery, Italy
