WORCESTER, ST CLEMENT'S - WAR MEMORIAL

World War 1 - Roll of Honour with detailed information
Compiled and copyright © 2004 - Transcribed Sandra Taylor; researched Martin Edwards

The church is situated in Henwick Road, Worcester. The memorial to the Great War (1914-1918) takes the form of a stone Celtic Cross on a stone base and can be found outside the main entrance to the church. It commemorates the 66 men of the parish and congregation who lost their lives in the Great War. The names are in no obvious particular order and for completeness and ease of reading have been sorted into alphabetical order on this page. For the Second World War a wooden plaque is situated inside the church on the East wall, right hand side of the altar, facing the church entrance.
