The memorial stands outside the parish church in Moor Lane, Aislaby, Scarborough, North Yorkshire. It takes the form of a wheel cross of stone with shaft surmounting a tapering plinth, with a sword and a shield, engravedwith "1914-1918", on the shaft; the plinth lists the names and inscription in incised lettering; the whole stands on a three-stepped round stone base. There are 12 names listed for World War 1 and 5 for World War 2.
