Artificer Electrical 3rd Class M/399, H.M.S. "Pathfinder", Royal Navy. Died 5th September 1914. Age 30. Son of Mr. and Mrs. Baker, of Stony Stratford, Bucks; husband of Beatrice Baker, of 88, London Rd., Stony Stratford, Bucks. Commemorated on CHATHAM NAVAL MEMORIAL, Kent. Panel 6.

CROSS William Henry

Sergeant 265075, 2nd/1st Buckinghamshire Battalion, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry. Killed in action 6th June 1917 in France & Flanders. Born Stantonbury, enlisted Wolverton, resident Stony Stratford. Buried in TILLOY BRITISH CEMETERY, TILLOY-LES-MOFFLAINES, Pas de Calais, France. Grave I. H. 20.
