The
memorial is at the junction of Coles road and Fen road, opposite the
Jolly Brewers Pub. It takes the form of an obelisk with a flat top and
tapering plinth on a single step base. There is also a second memorial
in the church which lists additional men. Those marked * appear on both,
without appear only on the church memorial and with
appear on the village memorial only.

April 1919 that could be the date of his death the earlier date
being when listed as Missing, the more likely explanation is that
when various POW Cemeteries were drawn together to this one site,
he was reburied at Berlin S. W. Cemetery, Brandenburg, Germany,
Plot IV Row B Grave 4 the date being the re-interrment. |
