War Memorial is located in the churchyard. All Saints, Teversham. It contains the name of the Kester brothers. Twins, one of whom is buried close to the Memorial.

Pte Suffolk Regiment. 4th Bn. Brother of DBK. Husband of Dorothy Ellen Kester. Son of Alfred and Sarah Ann Kester, of Teversham. Aged 27. 201884. Buried Longuenesse (St Omer) Souvenir Cemetery. Twin of David below.
KESTER

David Beaumont

Buried in All Saints Teversham, Churchyard. At South-East corner, near entrance. Private 59859 3rd Bn., Northamptonshire Regiment. Died on Sunday, 3rd November 1918. Also in loving memory of his twin brother Alfred John Kester Killed in action 27/9/17. Son of Alfred & Sarah Ann Kester. Husband of Esther Kester. Aged 28. Father of Victor D.Kester - see WW2 below. Private 16692 11th Bn., Suffolk Regiment who died on Thursday, 6th July 1916. Age 24. Son of Josiah and Eliza Noble, of Teversham, Cambridge. Buried in HEILLY STATION CEMETERY, MERICOURT-L'ABBE, Somme, France. Grave I. F. 35.

Private 5932422 1st Bn. The Cambridgeshire Regiment, Suffolk Regiment who died on Wednesday, 16th June 1943. Age 26. Son of Pte D.B.Kester. See WW1 above. Stepson of Arthur John Hiner. Buried at Thanbyuzayat War Cemetery, Myanmar.

Private 5833089 5th Bn., Suffolk Regiment who died on Sunday, 15th February 1942. Age 29. Son of Daken James Plumb and Matilda Plumb, of Teversham, Cambridgeshire. Buried in KRANJI WAR CEMETERY, Singapore. Grve 17. B. 6.

Leading Aircraftman 1060077 Pilot U/T Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve who died on Saturday, 4th January 1941. Age 19. Son of Kenneth Dalrymple Marriner and Margarethe Marriner, of Langton Green, Kent.

Within the churchyard there is a memorial garden
commemorating the 50th anniversary of VE day.
