The Marazion memorial takes the form of a Celtic cross of a shaft mounted on a stone plinth and standing in the churchyard of St. Morwetha parish church overlooking the outer wall. The inscription is on one side of the plinth and a knotwork design is carved onto the face of the shaft and cross/

Private 27811, 1st Battalion, Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry formerly 23174, Somerset Light Infantry. Killed in action 23 April 1917. From Tregaminion. Born St. Just, Cornwall, resident Tregaminion, Cornwall, enlisted Bodmin, Cornwall. No known grave. Commemorated on ARRAS MEMORIAL, Pas de Calais, France. Bay 6.

Private 33204, 2nd Battalion, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry formerly 148733, Royal Field Artillery. Killed in action 4 August 1918. Aged 28. From Keigwin. Born Gulod, Cornwall, resident Pendeen, Cornwall, enlisted Hilsea, Hampshire. Baptised 22 April 1890 wile resident at Bay of Biscay in Madron parish at that time. Son of John anf Grace Gilbert, of Higher Keigwin, Pendeen, Cornwall. Unmarried. Admitted to 2nd General Hospital 15 November 1916 with wounds to the right shoulder, discharged 18 November 1916 after 4 days treatment, sent to convalescent depot. Religious denomination Church of England. In the 1911 census he was aged 20, born Madron, Cornwall, a Farmer's son working on farm, son of John and Grace Jilbert, resident 1 Kegwin, Pendeen, Cornwall. Buried in BIENVILLERS MILITARY CEMETERY, Pas de Calais, France. Plot XVIII. Row E. Grave 1.
