The
church of St Mary the Virgin in Hugh Town is now the Anglican
parish church of the Islands (OS Grid square SX907106). The war
memorial stands in the churchyard. The memorial is in the form
of a Celtic Cross mounted on an obelisk. Although the names on
the memorial are listed under the conflict they died in there
appears to be no logical order to the entries. For the purpose
of this page, and for ease of searching, the names have been sorted
into alphabetical order. |
