Private 2749, 24th Battalion, Royal Fusiliers (City of London Regiment). Killed in action 27 Januaery 1916. Aged 44. Born Ore, Sussex, resident Sennjen, Cornwall, enlisted London. Son of Timothy Horsman Coles and Amelia Coles, of St. Helen'S, Hastings, Sussex. Buried in BROWN'S ROAD MILITARY CEMETERY, FESTUBERT, Pas de Calais, France. Plot I. Row G. Grave 17.

Able Seaman R/633, Hood Battalion, Royal Naval Division, Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve. Killed or died as a direct result of enemy action 4 September 1918. Aged 24. Born 29 July 1894 in Sennen, Cornwall. Son of Nancy George, of Nancherrow Terrace, St. Just, Cornwall, and the late Hosea George. No known grave. Commemorated on VIS-EN-ARTOIS MEMORIAL, Pas de Calais, France. Panel 1 and 2.

Seaman 2561B, H.M.S. "Highflyer," Royal Naval Reserve. Died from disease 1 September 1914. Aged 35. Born 27 November 1880 in Sennen, Cornwall. Son of Alfred and Mary Ann George, of Cowloe Cottage, Sennen Cove, Cornwall. No known grave. Commemorated at PLYMOUTH NAVAL MEMORIAL, Devon. Panel 5.

Born 26 July 1887 in Sennen Cover, Cornwall. Son of John George, of Cliff House, Sennen Cove, Cornwall. Buried in POOLE CEMETERY, Dorset. Grave reference 10. "C." 10151.

Enlisted as Boy 2nd Class 4 April 1882; with Anson Battalion 19 September 1914 to 3 february 1915 drafted to H.M.S. "Vivid"; born 12 May 1866. Husband of Mary Ann Symes, of Coast Guard Station, Sennen Cove, Cornwall, later of Wilton Cottage, Dunkirk, near Faversham, Kent. Buried in PLYMOUTH (WESTON MILL) CEMETERY, Devon.
