There
is a slate tablet with triangular top set into wall with the names in
three columns on the east side of the road 100 yards from the vicarage
on the B5289 at Stonethwaite. This is the Roll of Honour for Borrowdale
and lists 39 names, 29 who served and returned and 10 who made the ultimate
sacrifice.
