Robert William Ford

2nd Lieutenant, 3rd Battalion, Suffolk Regiment. Killed in action near St Quentin 26th August 1917. Aged 23 according to plaque but 21 on CWGC. Eldest son of Sylvia B. P. Lawrie (formerly Danvers), of 15, Earl's Court Gardens, Earl's Court, London, and the late R. A. Danvers (above). Buried in Hargicourt Communal Cemetery Extension, Aisne, France. Row A. Grave 1.
