The memorial can be found in the main street of the village. It takes
the form of a four-stepped base surmounted by plinth, shaft and cross;
the inscription is in relief on metal plaques attached to the sides
of the plinth. The whole memorial stands on a base bordered by low posts
with a chain link fence. There are 27 names for World War 1 and 12 for
World War 2. The aprish council are responsible for the memorial. Thye
postcard beloow is beleived to be the Bourton on the Water unveiling
7th December 19129.
