information
Compiled & Copyright © Martin Edwards 2016
The Chaceley war memorial is to be found outside Chaceley St John the
Baptishs Church. It takes the form of a cross mounted on column, set
on plinth, and mounted on a two-step base. The arms of the cross finished
in shape of Fleur De Lys with the arms joined by circle. There are four
names listed. Within the church is a further Roll of Honour listing
all the men who served. This page is made up of the names on the memorial
and on the Roll of Honour, those who died are identified with a poppy.
