Private PO/2464 (S), 1st Royal Marine Battalion, Royal Marine Light Infantry, Royal Naval Division. Died 27th September 1918 aged 25 years. Son of Mr & Mrs Charles Castle of West Langdon, Dover. Husband of Ada Grace Castle of 13 Selbourne Terrace, Dover, Kent. Commemorated on the Vis-En-Artois Memorial, Pas de Calais, France.

William Quested

Private L/10235, 2nd Battalion, The Buffs (East Kent Regiment). Died 12th April 1915. Born Martin, Dover. Enlisted Dover. Resided West Langdon. Son of Isaac James & Louisa Emily Harvey, of the “Rose Inn”, West Langdon, Ringwould, Kent. Commemorated on the Menin Gate, Ieper, Belgium.

Private PS/3419, 1st Battalion, Middlesex Regiment. Died 23rd April 1917. Born Dover. Enlisted Kingston, Surrey. Resided Croydon, London. Buried Heninel-Croisilles Road Cemetery, Pas de Calais, France. Grave I.E.8.
