The
memorial is located in the grounds of Ludford Magna parish church.
It is in the form of a Celtic Cross mounted on a column which is in
turn mounted on plinth; the whole monument is supported by a single
stepped base. Inscriptions are on the base of the column and the plinth.
There are 12 names for World War 1 only. The memorial was unveiled
and dedicated 19th June 1920; details can be found in the Lincoln
Chronicle 26th June 1920..
