The memorial is located at the Junction of Cross Road and Broadgate Road, Sutton St Edmund. It takes the form of a double plinth and pedestal surmounted with an ornate cap and cross, surrounded by iron railings and set on a concrete base. Inscription and names incised and picked out in black are on faces 1, 2 and 4 of the plinths and pedestal. There are 57 names listed, 41 names of those who seved in World War 1, 10 names of those who died during World War 1, 5 names of those who died in World War 2 and 1 non-combatant.
