LLANGIBBY
WW1 AND WW2 WAR MEMORIAL
World War
1 & 2 - Detailed information
Compiled and Copyright © Lyndon Wigmore 2008
The monument
is in the churchyard of St Cybi's Church, Llangibby. It takes the
form of a Celtic Cross standing on a tapering base, atop a two-step
plinth. The names are recorded on the tapering base. There are 10
names from the First World War and a further 4 from the Second World
War. The monument is in generally poor condition. It has weathered
badly, and the inscriptions are only barely legible.
