The memorial is to be found in All Saints Church, Stanhoe, at the back of the church. It takes the form of a marble tablet with moulded border and marble surround with a wreath in relief at each top corner of the tablet; the World War 2 names were added at the base of the tablet. There are 20 names listed for World War 1 and 2 for World War 2.

Lance Corporal PW/6408, 17th Battalion, Duke of Cambridge's Own (Middlesex Regiment). Killed in action in France & Flanders on 28th November 1917. Born and enlisted Norwich, resident King’s Lynn. No known grave. Commemorated on Cambrai Memorial, Louverval, Nord, France. Panel 9.

Corporal 13699, 8th Battalion, Norfolk Regiment. Killed in action in France and Flanders on 26th September 1916. Born King’s Lynn. enlisted Norwich. Awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal (D.C.M.), No known grave. Commemorated on Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France. Pier and Face 1 C and 1 D.

For conspicuous gallantry on several occasions during operations, when he led patrols and gained valuable information under heavy fire. He constantly rendered valuable assistance by showing the greatest intelligence and courage.

Able Seaman 233864. H.M.S. "Cressy," Royal Navy. Drowned in the North Sea when his ship was sunk by a German Submarine 22nd September 1914. Aged 25. Born 1 August 1889 in Stanhoe. Son of Mr. James Chestney, of Stanhoe, King's Lynn, Norfolk. Admitted to Stanhoe & Barwick School, Stanhoe 1893. IN the 1901 census he was the son of James and Elizabeth Chestney, aged 11, born Stanhoe, resident Bircham Road, Stanhow, Standhoe, Docking, Norfolk. Prior to enlisting he was a Railway Porter. Enlisted 1 August 1907 for 12 years. Height 5 feet 4 inches, dark brown hair, brown eyes, dark complexion. No known grave. Commemorated on Chatham Naval Memorial, Kent. Column 2.

[Chetney on SGDW] Private 69135. 9th Battalion Royal Fusiliers. Formerly SE/3845 A.V.C. Died in France & Flanders on 9th December 1917. Aged 35. Born Stanhoe. Lived St. Annes. Enlisted Brighton. Son of James and Elizabeth Chestney, of Stanhoe, Norfolk; husband of S. E. Chestney, of 63, Western Rd., Lewes. Buried in Le Cateau Military Cemetery, Nord, France. Plot V. Row D. Grave 18.

Private 640113. 38th Battalion Canadian Infantry (Eastern Ontario Regiment.). Died 12th May 1920. Aged 25. Born on 7th August 1894, the son of John Robert and Maria Gray, of Barwick, Stanhoe, King's Lynn, Norfolk, England. He was a farmer by profession in Canada. Buried in Kingston (Cataraqui) Cemetery, Ontario, Canada. Range 2. Section G. Grave 37.

Attested 4th March 1916 in Chenley, Ontario, Canada, aged 38 years 2 months, height 5 feet 9½ inches, chest 35 inches, medium complexion, bue eyes, brown hair, religious denomination Church of England; passed as fit to serve 5th March 1916. Walter Rout, son of Benjamin and Maria Rout, of Bakers Yard, Stanhoe, Hunsanton. There is Walter Rout, Private 5824, 7th Battalion, East Surrey Regiment. Killed in action 13 October 1915. Born King's Lynn, enlisted Kingston, Surrey. No known grave. Commemorated on Loos memorial, Pas de Calais, France. Panel 65 to 67.

[Listed as George Albert Williamson on CWGC] Private 22802, 9th Battalion, Norfolk Regiment. Killed in action 21st March 1918. Born Bircham, Norfolk, enlisted Norwich. In the 1901 census he as the son of James and Hannah Williamson, aged 6, born Norfolk, resident Chapel Yard, Stanhow, Standhoe, Docking, Norfolk. In the 1911 census he was the son of James and Hannah Williamson, aged 16, a farm labourer, born Stanhoe, resident Stanhoe, Norfolk. Commemorated on Arras Memorial, Pas de Calais, France. Bay 3.
