OTHER MILITARY GRAVE CHAFFCOMBE (St Michael)

GILLARD

James

This grave is slightly easier to read in actuality, but it is ‘going’ fast. Lettering was all in metal, possibly lead. However some of the letters are gone and only the shadow in the stone remains. Weathering is doing a fine job of destruction

The wording as best can be read states
