on HM Drifter Michaelmas Daisy, his service number was 4133ES (Ch).
He was killed by a mine on 26 November 1916, his body was not recovered
for burial. His parents were Robert and Johanna Knights, living
97 Woolaston Road, Lowestoft Suffolk and his next of kin was his
wife Agnes May Knights, formerly Carter, living 29 East Street,
Beach, Lowestoft. His name is also on the Chatham Naval Memorial,
