Lowestoft 9 December 1881. Engineman in the Royal Naval Reserve
on HM Drifter Michaelmas Daisy, his service number was 4133ES (Ch).
He was killed by a mine on 26 November 1916, his body was not recovered
for burial. His parents were Robert and Johanna Knights, living
97 Woolaston Road, Lowestoft Suffolk and his next of kin was his
wife Agnes May Knights, formerly Carter, living 29 East Street,
Beach, Lowestoft. His name is also on the Chatham Naval Memorial,

his parents, William and Elizabeth, at 10, Barcham Square, Lowestoft,
Mutford, Suffolk. Buried in LARNE NEW CEMETERY, County Antrim. Section

May 1916 in Swiftcurrent, Saskatewan, Canada, aged 31 years 11 months,
height 5 feet 6½ inches, chest 35 inches, dark complexion,
brown eyes, brown hair; reiligous denomination Methodist. No known
grave. Commemorated on VIMY MEMRIAL, Pas de Calais, France. National
