Compiled and copyright © Martin Edwards 2001

The Harrold War memorial is to be found at the junction of The Green and High Street, High Street, Harrold. It takes the form of a two-stepped, square, base surmounted by a tapering two-stage square, sectioned, plinth, ornate square collar with a tapering square sectioned obelisk. The whole memorial is surrounded by paving and a small garden which is enclosed by low posts and decorative single iron railing with centre twists. In turn, a vertical loop-top metal fence further encloses the area. The leaded inscriptions can be found on the upper plinth. There are 23 names listed for World War 1 and 12 for World War 2.
