        There
are two sets of memorials in Carlton, the first set are in St Mary the
Virgin Church, Turvery Road, Carlton. These memorials are on the left
hand wall as you look down the aisle of the church. One is of bronze
and carries ten names of those who gave their lives in World War 2 and
the other is a wooden plaque with the names of four men who gave their
lives. These plaques are almost identical to those now displayed in
the foyer of Carlton Village Hall, which carry the same number of names
for both wars. See also Cartlon
and Chellington War Memorial for the general village memorial.
