        The
memorial stands beside the road at a junction outside the parish hall
in the High Street, Southill. It takes the form of a pillar with mitred
caps set on a three stepped plinth and the lettering on the 6o'clock
face in black lettering. It was dedicated by the local clergy and dignitaries
and unveiled by Mr S. Howard Whitbread, C.B., J.P., on 23 October 1921.
There are 29 names for World War 1 and 5 for World War 2. Within All
Saints Church, Southill, is a rectangular board with a rectangular top
with shoulders that lists the same men as the memorial for both conflicts.
