SHELTON, G. W., Pte., 1/4th Lincolnshire Regt. He volunteered in 1915, and in June of the following year proceeded to the Western Front. Whilst in this theatre of war he took part in several important engagements, and was unfortunately killed in action on the Somme on September 14th, 1916. He was entitled to the General Service and Victory Medals.
